This privacy policy describes how VANTAGE CONTENT B.V. (“we”, “us”, “vantage content”) collects and uses personal data when you use our website (vantage content), contact us, or apply for opportunities with us. It should be read together with our cookie policy.

2. What personal data we process

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

• Website & technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and similar data collected in server logs or via analytics/marketing tools (where you have consented — see cookies).
• Contact & correspondence: name, email address, phone number, and the content of your messages when you email us or message us (including via business messaging channels, if offered).
• Recruitment & applications: information you submit in application forms or CVs (e.g. name, contact details, work history, social links, photos or media you choose to provide, and any other fields you fill in).

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

• Operating the website and responding to enquiries — Legitimate interests (running our business and communicating with you) and, where applicable, contract (steps prior to a contract).
• Recruitment and assessing applications — Legitimate interests and/or contract (recruitment). Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object as described below.
• Marketing measurement (e.g. Meta Pixel) — Consent, where required. You can withdraw consent via cookie settings and our cookie policy.
• Legal compliance — Legal obligation where applicable.

4. How we collect data

Directly from you (forms, email, applications) and automatically when you browse our site (logs; cookies and similar technologies as described in our cookie policy).

5. Recipients and processors

We use trusted service providers who process data on our instructions (e.g. website hosting, email and application/form tools, analytics or advertising platforms where you have consented). They may only use the data to provide those services to us.

Some providers may be located outside the EEA. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, as required by GDPR.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above:

• Application data: typically for the duration of the recruitment process and a limited period afterwards (e.g. to reconsider you for similar roles or defend legal claims), unless a longer period is required by law or you ask us to delete earlier (subject to our legal rights).
• Correspondence: as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period thereafter.
• Technical / log data: according to our hosting and security practices, usually short retention cycles unless needed for security or legal reasons.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (and UK GDPR where applicable), you may have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect lawfulness before withdrawal). You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

8. Automated decision-making

We do not use solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you in relation to recruitment.

9. Children

Our services and careers content are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete it where appropriate.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
